Hi,

the following popped up on gmp-bugs. The fix is correct and was
proposed by Mickael Gastineau.

Cheers,

Hi,

The functions gmp_urandomb_ui and gmp_urandomm_ui are defined in the
gmp
library but are not exported correctly to build the windows DLL. They
aren't prefixed by
__GMP_DECLSPEC in the header file gmp-h.in (and so gmp.h) (e.g. with
gmp 4.2.4) but they
are well documented:

#define gmp_urandomb_ui __gmp_urandomb_ui
unsigned long gmp_urandomb_ui __GMP_PROTO ((gmp_randstate_t, unsigned
long));

#define gmp_urandomm_ui __gmp_urandomm_ui
unsigned long gmp_urandomm_ui __GMP_PROTO ((gmp_randstate_t, unsigned
long));

It sould be replaced by :

#define gmp_urandomb_ui __gmp_urandomb_ui
__GMP_DECLSPEC  unsigned long gmp_urandomb_ui __GMP_PROTO
((gmp_randstate_t, unsigned long));

#define gmp_urandomm_ui __gmp_urandomm_ui
__GMP_DECLSPEC  unsigned long gmp_urandomm_ui __GMP_PROTO
((gmp_randstate_t, unsigned long));

I use the native microsoft compiler (cl.exe) available with the
windows SDK (2203R2 and 2008).

Mickael,
