10 clip-n-save reminders and tips to help you enjoy the list: 1. Everyone, please bookmark our home page: http://www.e-democracy.org/mpls-issues. You can get rules questions. Also, if you want your friends to subscribe, you can use the email-bot on the page. 2. To send a message to the list, address your post to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Only subscribers can post to the list. 3. If you like the list but getting 10-20 a day from us is too much, consider our digest format, which delivers posts in batches of 6 to 8. Instructions are also on our home page. 4. To unsubscribe, send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] No subject. In the body, type: unsubscribe mpls-issues. 5. Remember, the list is about Minneapolis politics and civic affairs, not Minneapolitans talking about politics. State, national, and global issues are not appropriate topics here - we are parochial by design. Generally, an appropriate event must affect Minneapolis particularly or uniquely, or be an action of a city governing body. 6. No more than two posts per subscriber per 24-hour period, which runs from 3 a.m. to 3 a.m. 7. Please always include your real name and city neighborhood, or city if you live outside of Minneapolis. If you work but don't live in town, you can include your employer. 8. Please, don't personally attack another list member. You may criticize someone else's arguments, but not characterize the person making them. 9. Don't be overwhelmed trying to read everything. Use the delete key frequently, and we'll keep you as a member longer. There won't be a test on anything, after all. 10. Don't discuss list management on the list - not everyone wants non-issue posts in their mailbox. Feel free to email me with questions: [EMAIL PROTECTED] If you're not satisfied, you can talk to my governing board at Minnesota E-Democracy. (See http://www.e-democracy.org)
