Who is the nincompoop who told you that having a queue
manager in the mainframe is "tricky"? And what do you mean by "tricky"? And most
of all do you know what a mainframe is?

seen this happen a couple of times.

Yes, the
up in the
transmission queue until it, too, is full. At least, I think that's what I
remember happening, but it's been quite a while, so my memory may be a bit
off. -- Rebecca

is 5.2 with CSD05 on
Windows 2000 cluster. Most of the times in order to solve the crisis what we have done
is to stop and start MQ (which drains the messages in the queue which filled up) and
everything starts to work fine.
What am I missing here

think it was Jeff Hooper who sent these. We do not seem to receive these e-Mails

Hello,
Is it possible to upgrade from MQ 5.2.1 to Websphere MQ 5.3? Or should I do an
uninstall of 5.2.1 and an install of 5.3?

Hello all,
I am extremely sorry about this. I meant to send the e-Mail to IBM but I
inadvertently sent this to the wrong recipient.
Again my apologies.

Hello,
Has anyone installed MQ 5.2.1 on XP professional? Is there any new media for
XP? I did not find any in the Websphere MQ link...
I tried installing 5.2.1 on XP. The install seems to succeed even though it
seems to hang when I try to create a queue manager...
Edward Pius
his "Proxy Queue manager" is an OS/390 queue manager... and if it
is the case whether it should have the client attach feature.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Edward Pius.
