Each queue manager has its own certificate.
You can certainly link more than one queue manager to a key ring.

local CCSID. MQ replaces the 0 in this field with the correct local
CCSID.
So if I do an MQPUT to an AIX server
using MQMD.CodedCharSetId=0, then I expect the MQMD to end up with CodedCharSetId=437
as that is what chcp reports.
Hope that helps,

say hello,world
Oooops ! ... try again. Unexpected ",", ")", or "]"
You could have had:
say hello world
say 'hello, world'

Do you have the relevant FMID installed? Some of them aren't part of the base install of the operating system.

On OS/390, the channel initiator is the single address space that runs ALL
the channel code, including listeners and receiver channels.
Thus, ADOPTMCA is used by the receiver channels running in the channel
initiator.

Graham,
i appreciate upgrading may not be easy, but WebSphere MQ for z/OS version
5.3 does support grouped messages. As you rightly say, previous version do
not.
