Monitor
Hi Siva,
The X2 return code means
in the beginning of the message data (after those length fields).
If we do not have OTMA and will use native MQ calls, does that imply that
we NEED the IMS trigger monitor (assuming we do not wish to write our own
monitor)?
If we use OTMA (which has not been installed), my possibly faulty
understanding
.

Couln't check that since we didn't have one - a good indication that the
trigger monitor is not set up.
The IMS people we have have
: IMS trigger
The Qmgr the IMS region is currently used with only has 'output'
queues.
The person who configured the system left w/o providing any docs on
setting
it up for
'input'.

Let me try again...
If you only have output queues, then you will
accumulate messages
forever--a
practically useless arrangement, if you ask me.
So, I rather expect you
do
have 'input' queues--XMITQ's and INITQ's, if
nothing else
