This is good news for us, but not great news. The Notes guys want to plow
ahead with R6, but we've got a slew of MQLSX apps. This doesn't help that.
But the MQ guys (me) want to plow ahead with 5.3, and this does let me do
that. The way I read it, anyway.

This not an official announcement but I thought it would of great interest
to the MQLSX users of the world.
Support for MQLSX will be extended through 12/31/2004 for Notes/Domino R5
only. MQLSX will not be supported on Notes/Domino R6.

Any LotusScript code using MQLSX will surely be "supported" i.e. it won't suddenly break when newer versions of MQ come out - at worst you may have to keep your own copy of the mqlsx.dll. But the larger issue of concern for Lotus developers is IBM's not-so-subtle shift away

What is you Production Platform ?
If the answer is something other than windows use the MQLSX or MA88 ( Java
Bindings). If you want something that is better for High volume use MA88
even though Notes has
If you check, the MQLSX dll is distributed with the NT MQ 5.2 client.
The controversy is that IBM has withdrawn the support pak, but since it is
distributed with the client, what does that mean for 5.3? When will
support end?
