Subject: RES: Batch triggering
In each queue that has to start a Batch Job we define a different <Trigger
data> (together with all definitions needed to trigger a CICS transaction).
Each <Trigger data> corresponds to a Batch Job.
We have a common CICS transaction that is started by CICS trigger monitor.
This transaction issues Exec Cics Spool commands, and no MQSeries command.
These spool commands contain a complete (small) job which is started after
Exec Cics SpoolClose.
This job enables OPC's resource SRSTAT which contais the value of the
queue's <Trigger data> explained above.
SRSTAT will start a job already catologed in the OPC.
If you are interested, I will be happy to share with you the code.
