We have a situation where messages are being sent from AIX to queues
serviced by OTMA. I don't much about OTMA except that it exists.
The catch is that the messages are processed just prior to MQPUT to compress
them, and need to be decompressed on MQGET. So far so good, the problem is

We use the Bridge, and have Web apps that send ASCII messages into the OTMA.
Conversion happens no problem. The problem is in your format. If you are
sending a message into a Bridge
I think that the *key* issue here is that normally the conversion of the
MQIIH is done by special code in the receiving MCA (weird or what), rather
than by the getting OTMA application.
In the specific case, the format of the message isn't MQFMT_IMS when the
receiving MCA handles it.
