I have written an "Introduction to Git" article back in 2009, for the
German Toolbox magazine. The English version of that article is
available at the following URL for download:

Then there is also some fun to be had with a Git repository. The
following URL shows some git commands which allows you to pull some
statistics from your repository. eg: "most productive day", "most
productive hour", etc. Have fun! :-)
