There is going to be lots of changes coming. Microsoft no longer wants to be a
software company. It is all about devices and services. Can they be both a
devices and service company for consumers and the enterprise? Time will tell.

I do agree an enterprise OS and a consumer OS is a great away to go. We leased
that years ago with NT and Windows 95. The fact that they want to push metro
is fine. Things change but at least make it manageable.

I'm in a heterogeneous environment, and will have to say the adoption of win 8
is not as expected. Our Linux users are somewhat of a different breed. They do
not adhere to the standards. Much as the the mac users, shiny penny and they
turn around saying they can't do their work so they get a win
