here's my situation:
I'm working on a DOS2 program, which switches to SCREEN5 using direct VDP
I/O and writes VRAM directly as well. When I exit the program, I want to
switch back to the screenmode DOS2 was in before running my program. But I
don't know how!

The disk-subscription of MCCM 90 contained a C-library for MSX set that I
made. Unfortunately, one header file was missing in this C-library: it was
called tio.h.
As of today, you can find this header file on my homepage, in the MCCM
Articles section.
