Does anybody know what happens when the battery for the MSX clockchip/sram is dead? Because that seems to be the case for my NMS8235 and is most obvious difference between my NMS8235 and NMS8255. Can it be possible that that is why the Novaxis won't boot my HD? Any documentation on the Novaxis

hi gouda slot expander have many litle problem with philips (i have 8280) try to loaded the bus of the slot expander with one or two cartridge (slot select not actived) and change the scsi in all sub-slot try to clean the connector of the cartridge of slot expander one of my sub-slot don't accept

Can't help you: I have novaxis/gouda SCSI and Gouda Slotexpander on a Turbo R and even with an extra IDE controller and Harddisk, everyhing works. (ZIP and HD's on external Powersupply, slotexpander no external power.) In my other MSX (In big PC Desktopcase) I have everything powered from a PC powe
