Well, how did you do that with MM? Show me the code =)
MM is a damn good filemanager, please tell us.
I think he just added something like ".MBMMBWAVE" to "MMRET.DAT"
config file.
Using ".MBMMBPLAY $C -D" works ok for me.
Cheers,
Manuel
He didn't get MM to play the .MWM files... so there is no code to show!

I tried to modify MultiMente to automatically play .MWM files that are on
several folders and drives of my MSX. At this moment pressing Enter on a
.MWM file, makes MBWAVE.COM to start, but it doesn't load the file and when
pressing F5 it opens always in the folder where MBWAVE resides. Ho

But Multimente is a DOS program, that is, it is executed from RAM in
address #0100...

Hi!
Finally I have an IDE interface and a hard disk on my Turbo
R!!!
It works fine, but I have a problem with Multimente.
Some commands require a temporary directory. Default option is

I want to change this for a:\temp
I tried to put SET TEMP=a:\temp in the autoexec.bat file, but it

The doc file of MM sais that the environement item TEMP is the
directory where temporary files will be placed, and TMP is the
name for some specific temporary file... is that true?

AFAIK multimente creates a batchfile which is probably
stored in the directory %TMP%

does contain a few hacks here and there and in the end, hacks always turn
against the programmers and the users :-(
You can try to contact the programmers of multimente to have a look at their
application. Maybe they can fix it.
