I use a little utility named PARK.COM (from a Italian Disk) with
my SCSI (Seagate? - I dont remember) HDD.
The interface is from Gouda.
Maybe this is what you will need...

My understanding is that only stepper motor hard disks need to be parked,
voice coil heads park themselves.
By the way have you ever built anthing from the stepper motors from old
hard or floppy disk drives?

Lads, I've got a 80 Mb-SCSI HD yesterday, from Seagate (unfortunatelly I can't
remember the model). But I need a Park utility, to avoid any problems regarding to it.
I'm using a Mega-SCSI as my SCSI controller card, I don't know if there is any
influence...
