Buttons work in 50%

Bug description:
command sent to the mud = you've used the plain text command box? The
buttons seem to work fine according to your output but the text command
box could be broken. This isn't supported anymore and will be removed.
People need to use the send() function

I am pretty sure that I upgraded. It says 2.1 in title bar and splash and
everywhere.
