Hi all,
I am using multisync CVS snapshot from this morning, synce CVS also from
this morning and Evolution 1.4.3.
When I try to sync a calendar entry that has a large piece of text in
the notes part, it causes the active sync on my Pocket PC 2002 to crash
(or at least it seems that way. The ppp
Hi Carl,
The problem that you described with the Opie description and note should
be fixed. I am syncing changes to both fields in both directions. Let me
know if things seem OK at your end too.
As you surmised in a later email, the timezone issue is partially an Opie
problem.
Right now Opie
Sure - could you set the MULTISYNC_DEBUG environment variable to 1 and
then give me the vCal of the event that is printed to the console? Could
you also let me know what date(s) you expected the event to be repeated
on (i.e. how it looked to start with in Evolution or on your Zaurus).
Thanks,

Hi,
I'm having problems syncing my Zaurus with Evolution. I use mainly
repeating events and it seems to get the dates of the repeats wrong.
What type of debugging information would you like to help solve this
problem?
Thanks for your time.

I'm not on my home system, but my work box with similar setup says:
$rpm -qf /usr/lib/liblinc.a
linc-devel-1.0.2-0.ximian.6.1
So you think this is a Ximian packaging bug?

You shouldn't be having any problems with opie_sync and your Zaurus if
everything is set up properly.
What are you running on your Zaurus and what version? Did you try SFTP
and FTP?

[EMAIL PROTECTED] downloads]$ rpm -qf /usr/lib/liblinc.la
linc-devel-1.0.1-1
If liblinc.la is not there, who is providing liblinc.a on your system?
If it is a Ximian package then there might be a problem with them not
including the .la library (I think someone had a problem with this
before ?)
I am using Familiar Linux on my iPaq, but the procedure should be the
same.
The only difference I can see is that I have "authorized_keys" named as
"authorized_keys2" (in reference to the ssh v2 protocol I believe).
