Hello,
I have lately seen a lot of people having problems connecting their P800

it. This is a very incomplete and most like temporarily summary of my

I sync my 5600 with the Opie plug-in and it seems to work well for
contacts. I'm having an issue with the calendar. It seems to only sync
from my Zaurus to Evolution. If I make a change in Evolution I don't
see the change on the Zaurus. Is this a known issue?

No, it just means you have to have all of the necessary Gnome libraries
installed. If you are running Evo from KDE, you probably already do.

After some more review of the issue. The sync is working, but it looks
like tkcCalendar is not reading the updates. If I look at the XML file
the change is there and if I make a change to the calendar on the Zaurus
it just overwrites the change from Evolution.

Hello,
I am trying to sync with my zaurus sl-5600, but it is failing. Basically there is no ftp server running at port 4242, in fact there is no ftp at all. So I installed the troll-ftpd, this was running ok, but I was not able to login. I can not see anyway of adding a password for any user.
Thanks very much.
Could you send me the contents of the ~/.multisync//
directory too (preferably right after you do this sync)? Somehow the
sync engine dup detection is kicking in when it shouldn't have to - the
ids file from your sync pair will tell me more.
Thanks again,

Normally this occurs when a plugin can't find a library at runtime. Go
to /usr/local/lib/multisync and run ldd on each of the plugins and look
for missing libraries. If the libraries are installed they may also have
to be set up so that the loader can find them with ldconfig.

Hey there, dear multisync list.
I downloaded the .80 version of multisync, compiled and installed the

you need a very small patch to the kernel (for 2.4.20, or a big one for earlier) as

Hello,
I believe that the SL-C750 comes with the newer Sharp 3.X ROM that is
not yet supported by the Multisync Opie plugin.
You may want to consider installing OpenZaurus on your SL-C750 - the PIM

Hi,
Those missing dependencies are from other packages - on my RedHat 9
system:
krb5-libs-1.2.7-10
libgal21-0.23-1
You'll need to get the SuSE equivalents of these installed before it will
work.
I guess what we really need is SuSE packages :)
