I have used exactly the same toolset to compile the complete garnome-
0.29.1 set and this program fails horribly.
I already checked the archives, found something about running the CVS
but alas that fails horribly too.
So how to get this program to compile?

Not yet, but I've been waiting for that question. Since my workload is
pretty high right now, I'd be very happy if someone else would want to
take on that task :) Otherwise it may take a while.

first of all I need to say that I'm really impressed with how easy &
convenient multisync was to install & set up! I had my Palm (serial) and
Siemens S55 (bluetooth) sync via multisync in no time! No fumbling with
yet another config syntax, just plug & go. Wow.
