Hi,
is there any way to sync Nokia 6610/6610i phonebook with evolution using
multisync (or even other software)?
The best way would be IRDA as I have one. The other way is SyncML over
GPRS (only 6610i version of Nokia) or over IRDA and SyncML.

Thanks for your answer.
This is what happens (I use 0.81 release, for some reasons that I
explain in another e-mail)
1- I initialize the Irda port
2- I run Multisync
3- I do a test connection through Multisync: it properly finds a Nokia
6610
4- But when I try to SYNC, it generates an error ("Faile
Not sure if this is working.
Nokias that support SyncML (i.e. Symbian) should nominally be supported
by MultiSync, but there have been problems with this in the past. I

not support the standard synchronization, just getting/pushing of
objects).

There's a simple reason for this: SonyEricsson and Siemens develop and
follow open standards -- Nokia most often run their own proprietary
race.
Hello,
There are mentioned in MultiSync Howto
http://multisync.sourceforge.net/newdocs/x291.htm
only 2 brand marks of cell phones (Ericsson and Siemens)
Does anybody experince if Nokia (especially 6610 and similar) can work
with MS too?
And if not, what's the plan of include such phones for fut
