Hello,

I found the definition of the differents URIs (addressbook and calendar) for the connnection to the SyncML server.
But, there is still a mystery about the definition of the device.
I saw that my SyncML server receives a device like that : "C6CF00F0F862".
How does the SyncML plugin defines this device for the connection to the SyncML server ?
Is it defined during the first communication with the server (as 'guest' user ... else why this first connection as guest ?)  ?
Or the device corresponds to a local property of the computer/os (mac address, ...) ?

Thanks for your future response ;)

Pierre

Objet : SyncML plugin configuration

Hello,

I downloaded and installed MultiSync, the evolution plugin and the SyncML plugin in order to synchronize my events and my contacts from Evolution with a SyncML server.
But, what is the configuration of the SyncML plug-in for the connection to the server ?
More precisely, if I wish to connect to a Sync4j server, what is the default URI of the SyncSource to synchronize (for contacts, events and tasks), and what the device corresponding to the SyncML plug-in ?
I have this information for my Sync4j server, but I don't find where are the corresponding fields to fill.

Thanks ;)

Pierre
