As a result of the first two questions which related to "peer to peer" syncronazation I have successfully installed multisync and multisync-syncml.
I am trying to sync two gnome-pim file sets, one in path $HOME/.gnome and the other in path /mnt/remote/user/.gnome. The data resides in vcard format files in each directory.
I tried as 'user' to simply sync them but the error log shows:
"could not open server port"
I tried changing https to http. Is there a non protected port??
The app is running as root. What does this mean??
