I said there was a /trend/ toward that order in the examples I was finding. I didn't find any explicit rules for ordering, but had to extrapolate from examples. The MLA is pretty flexible, depending on what/whom you're emphasizing, but the examples still tend toward [soloists][ensemble][conduc
