the intricacies of this subject.

With that change: +1
I also prefer the proposed 'fictional' attribute, but this is a good
start, and will allow an automated transition if/when

How do we lose time exactly? Adding a new a artist type *require* no

+1 as a temporary measure. I agree that Rachel's attribute would be better,
but waiting for the schema change means that in the meanwhile the data
can't be entered correctly, while a new type would probably be much quicker
to achieve and as Calvin wrote, the new type can be migrated when the

I don't understand what your example of Spinal Tap is supposed to show. My
point was that I believe a Person is very different from a Character (as
far as classification / tagging tools would be concerned), but a Group is
still a Group regardless of whether its members are Persons, Characters, or

"Character" is certainly better than current usage of "Person" or "Other".
(Also, I don't see why you'd oppose this because of Groups. I personally
don't see much value in being able to mark Groups as "fictional"/"composed
of Character members" - it's still a group.)

Sorry, but Characters can be individuals or groups.
I initially proposed for there to be an option to toggle “Fictional” onto an
