Ok, it makes sense. I agree that ARs can't be avoided and that entering Artist Credits is no excuse for not entering ARs. But I have still another question: what means artist credit outside classical? How is it different from ARs? Why did we implement ARs and (long) after add Artist Credit?

As said before several times I strongly dislike the mixing of composer and performer names in an artist credit field unsuited for this. I still think a specific composer field, inheriting data from works (or ARs) is the thing we need. But since NGS (but for adding the Works concept) mostly ignored
