My progress on 1.8 has been a bit slower than I hoped, so I think it would be good to release 1.7.2 soon. (This weekend, if I can get over this sickness that's been exhausting me all week...)
A few commits were made in default that I would want in the release. So I'm planning on cherry-picking these into the stable branch: 84ad86e8b8ab Fix build failure with GPGME 1.8 695243ba6374 More openssl1.1 fixes 821022f6c78c Fix openssl 1.1 compilation issues.
