What I have done to make it easier for me to add stuff from mail
folders while writing mail is to add two macros to my .muttrc:
macro compose \cf "R/tmp/mutt0\nA"
This one renames the file which is being edited in /tmp, so we
know what its name is when we cat the mails to it. The ^U is a

I've been told that mutt can do what I want. I want to set up the
following:
1. Collect mail from 2 pop accounts (user1 and user2)
2. When I reply to a message addressed to user1, the from header should be
user1, if I reply to a message addressed to user2, the from header should

Have a look at the save-hooks. You already got an answer about your
macro question, but also configuring Mutt so that it knows whic

Hi.

Because I didn't say in jed.rc:
autoload("mail_mode","mail_mode");

I got the latest JED and from http://www.s-lang.org/archive/
both mail_mode-mutt.sl and mail_mode.sl
I copied them to my /users2/local/jed/lib directory and made mutt invoke the
editor using:
set editor="jed %s -f mail_mode"
Problem: Although jed gets invoked and I can write/edit mail, I
Hi!
I am looking for a skript, which converts pines addressbook to mutts
alias-file. Do you have a hint?
Ciao!
