It looks like the case where the save default doesn't go to the list name
is when the listname is in the Cc instead of the To.

Use ^[EMAIL PROTECTED] to filter on. Or use the ^TO_ mutt-users

Sorry, I only read the manual ;-) which makes it sound like lists and

I'm using thomas roessler's ultimate muttrc config file with exim and
debian 2.2.16. I can't send mail with mutt. I tried using a different

and it didn't work either. Is there something I have to change in
configuration?

Well, mutt's envelope_from option permits you to make the envelope
from identical to the header from. You can't set them independently
of each other, currently.
How about using the old way (set sendmail)?

I am unable to send mail. nothing goes out. there are no error messages.
I checked the .muttrc file (search $dsn_notify and $dsn_return) and it's

Maybe your exim configuration is fscked up somewhere? This doesn't

What *does* sSMTP use as the envelope sender address in case the From

If so, then it should be the exact same behaviour of $envelope_from..
But obviously this isn't happening.

I have been using Mutt for a week and am a total convert. I _did_ have a
