The only way I can seem to get my file browser to disply my folders in the order i
have them listed (as 'mailboxes) is to do:
set sort_browser=unsorted
this is great except when i hit 'tab' key, the directories (maildir) are
completely unsorted. They don't seem to be sorted quite
hello,
has someone tried procmailrc when you use the pop functionnality of mutt?
mutt fetches all my mail in /var/spool/mail/$LOGNAME
I made a .forward and .procmailrc
checked the permissions of these files
I made a small test so if I sent a mail with test in the subject it should go to the

New mail indicator is working fine now.
Are you only interested in new mail in your spool
All,
I apologize if this has been discussed and I missed it, but I recently
upgraded to 1.3.19i. When I did so, the default color seems to have
disappeared. I get about 20 of these errors:
Error in /home/nate/.muttrc, line 243: default: no such color
What should I replace this with? If I

I use quite a few fcc-save-hooks (in mutt v1.2.5), and I've noticed
something which makes them almost useless now. The Fcc: seems to be set
according to the first sequential address match. This would be fine if
mutt compared the fcc-save-hook to the To: field first, but it seems to

I have a few save-hooks set up to save my mailing list stuff into
different folders. However, I'd like to set up a default save-hook that
would save anything that is not caught by the other save-hooks into
another directory according to the From: address. Example: if I have
mail from [EMAIL

Hello,
I just replied to a message on this list and mutt saw fit to
add a space between the Re: and the rest of the subject line.
I've accidentally sent one of these messages out before and
have been meaning to fix it except I can't seem to find out
what controls this in the manual.
Thanks for

I am a newbie and probably this is a FAQ. Would you excuse me and my
poor english. I know Mutt is able to fetch mail from various POP

file to do this.
I added new lines for every accont with

Hello all,
just a simple question: I always have my $EDITOR variable set to vim, so I
wanted to try the builtin editor of Mutt. I unset this variable (and
also $VISUAL), and evenis vi is not mentionned in my .muttrc, vi stays the
default
I'm not sure if this is mandatory or not, but my folder hooks have
single quotes around the whole argument, like:
folder-hook Sent 'set index_format=%3C %Z %[%b %d %H:%M] - %-22.22t
(%3l) %s'
Try this out and see if it makes a difference.

change this line
