Hi!
How do you reply to a message in a thread, change the
subject and start a new thread?
I mean, I can do all this by hand, but perhaps there is
already a command for doing this?
Suppose that while reading a thread you get motivated to
reply to something that has nothing to do with the thread,
I've set up my muttrc to recognize the mailing lists I susbscribe to
using 'lists' and 'subscribe', and I've set the view of the index in
some mailboxes to show the name of the mailing list using %B.
Now my problem (and question):
I subscribe to several mailing lists that have names of the follo
Hi again,
I have currently about 300 M in my ~/mail dir. Perhaps many of you
have still more.
Not that disk space is scarce ... but I'd like to keep old mail in
an organized mail archive (perhaps using the same organization of
mailboxes, but also separated by year/month whatever). Before

Hi,
I just installed mutt-devel 1.3.22i (coming from 1.2.5i) and lost the

My .muttrc is the same as before, my term is also unchanged (xterm).
I tried also to set TERM to some other values (xterm-color, linux)
to no avail.
Is this a FAQ? Or is it a problem o
As i wrote in a recent post I was trying to set the subject by using
send-hooks. Like this:

I expected this to work when sending emails to

My attempts failed and i noticed something in the mutt manual that led

Hi!
I'd like to be able to move messages from my inbox into several others
folders (I'm using maildir for all of my mailboxes).
Right now I can do s:Save on messages, but instead of moving them I
end up with a copy of the message ...
Also, I'd like to be able to move messages at will and not de

Hi!
I am new to both mutt and this list.
I've found mutt a great mail app, and I'm still going through all of
the possible configuration features, changing things and experimenting
with them.
So here's my first question: is it possible to set the subject on a
