Apple displays flowed text

I don't have any Apple hardware, but asked a couple friends to help out. They showed me an iPhone and a Macintosh displaying a test message that I sent them, text/plain format=flowed. The iPhone mail reader displays flowed text correctly: lines are filled and word-wrapped to fit the screen.
