BTW, I checked in a change today that removed the redundant live TV
item from the menu. So from now on, there is only one live TV option,
and it should do the right thing for whatever version of myth you are
using.

I have succesfully installed a mythbackend on one server and a frontend on
another pc. The frontend works great and can play avi files and quicktime
movies with mplayer. My only problem now is with playing dvds.
1) I'd like the system to autodetect when a dvd is inserted and start

The New Live TV option works for me (although the standard Live TV
function still crashes) - that's an improvement over the
