Just a guess, as I don't use the above feature, but is the date not set
correctly on your MVP? When you telnet to it, an run date, what does it say?

OK, that turned out to be a mysql permission issue -- had to allow
access to mythconverg for the mvp's IP address.
But I have two further issues:
1. When I press "schedule recordings", it begins in December 1969
... so unless I am patient enough to scroll forward several hundred
times, I will not
I have mvpmc up and running, and it seems that it is talking with my
mythtv backend. However, when I click on "schedule recordings", I get
the message:
"no guide returned from database ... database error"
By the way, I am able to access the database through mythweb on the
backend, but I do not h
