surely there must a a configurable setting to point MLO to Outlook
2010's new location - Office14 instead of Office12 ?
I am committed to using Outlook 2010 - no turning back - but this
currently trashes MLO for me :-(,
Any immediate fix suggestions most welcome.

I will answer your second question first. Yes you can add notes via
the Rapid Task Entry dialog box. Select Tools/Options/Rapid Task Entry
