Hi Louisa.
I can help with a couple of your issues.
In many task management systems, urgency and importance are set relative to
everything else in your database. In MLO, urgency and importance are set
relative to the task's immediate parent. That makes assignment of priorities
easier once you

It doesn't work that way for me. If I use the double quotes in the search

so
clean
will show cleaning
"clean"
will NOT show cleaning...

No, when I say MLO_sync I mean a local file named MLO_sync that is located
in the dropbox area.
You sync locally from your PC to the local MLO_sync file, drobox moves that
file contents to your laptop's version of the file.
Then you sync on your laptop from the laptop's local MLO_sync drobo
Oh! So when you say MLO_sync, you mean MLO Cloud Sync?
And it's possible to sync an archive file with MLO Cloud Sync then?

Hi there
I am new to using MLO and am having trouble with the order in which my
to-do list is generated using the computed score. For example, I have
a task showing up as 3rd in the to-do list, whose deadline is in 9
days and whose importance and urgency is set to normal. Meanwhile, I
have a task s
Dear Philb,

Dear Dwight,
Please read this thread:

WiFi sync for Android is currently in development, USB sync is being
discussed right now on the forum.

Is it possible to find on a "whole word" (e.g delineated by whitespace or
other markers.) only?
I tried enclosing my query in double quotes but that does not work.
Examples: "trim" should find tasks with "trim this task" but not "call the
tree trimmer"

I am trying to figure out how the MLO iOS app sorts active actions.
There appears to be no ryhme or reason to it and it is really
frustrating. The sorting clearly does not match what I see on the MLO
desktop app. The sorting is not based on due date as some actions
with no due date appear at the
Hi,
In the “All Tasks” or “Projects” view on iPhone, there is a number out
to the right of each Parent or Project listing the number of subtasks
under that heading. This number seems to reflect all tasks (i.e., even
completed tasks that are now hidden from their respective lists). Is

Hi,
I should have mentioned that I had tried that and it does not work.
For example: I have a task called "DL " (that's a space at the end
which I added on purpose just for this exercise).
But typing "dl " (again with a space at the end) in the Find box still
brings up a task called "Answer Ed Po

Hi,
I notice that when I look at either "All Tasks" or "Projects" views on
my iPhone MLO version, there is a number out to the right indicating
the number of subtasks within a given parent task or project. It seems
like this number reflects all subtasks, even those that have been
marked completed.
You can also create your own ToDo view and print it.
In ToDo apply Action Filter: Completed.
Set Advanced filtering conditions (e.g. CompletedDateTime after 20/03
AND CompletedDateTime before 27/03).
Go to File > Print and select Memo Style (in this way tasks won't be
crossed).
Play with rules an

I like to use dropbox with separate files and a sync file. So in dropbox
have an MLO_PC file for the PC, an MLO_Laptop file for the lapttop and then
use a MLO_sync file to sync between the two.
When creating the synchronization, chose the sync to local data file option.

I meant to say that if you want to use lead time (taking your example) then
you can use either:-
-s may1 -l30d
OR
-d may31 -l30d
Of course, the manual calculation would be more difficult if you were
crossing one or more months but that's probably why you asked the question.

Example input would be "-s today" without quotes. You may be confused

Okay, now I'm thoroughly confused. I can't even figure out how to simply
create a start date (without a due date) via -stoday -s:today or s:today
etc., despite reading the parsing section in the help docs :\
