Dear fellow MLOer's,
1. The single question I ask of my to do list is what is the best use
of my time right now?. (this is not original, comes from the father
of time management, Alan Lakein.
2. To identify options, S. Covey's Roles/Goals/Projects/Tasks/Actions
structure is the best I have seen.
Hi,
I'have installed MLO Dektop into a Truecrypt container, ie a portable
mlo with no - supposed - footprint on the computer.
But, I've just discovered that MLO has created a folder in my
documents, into wich there is the lo file of cloud sync.
Opening this file, I can clearly read the content
Hi,
I have been trying to apply flags to various tasks in Outline View. I
get the message in a dialog box every so often and I don't know how to
stop it from going about my business.
I would appreciate any help - I'm new to MLO,
Thank you

I believe there should be an option to ignore parent folders when
calculating the sort order. For example, I have a folder A that
contains a task B. Currently, task B's priority is calculated relative
to folder A, so even if B is severely overdue, it's position in the to-
do list will not rise,
Hi,
I can see the benefits of having priorities decided by this algorithm
thingy but I find it tiresome when attempting to change the importance/
urgency/effort staus of individual multiple tasks. I realize there are
shortcuts for just about everything with MLO (thanks) but what about
some kind
Hi Michael,
Yes you can do it in MLO - thanks to parsing feature.
Just type in the outline like this:
Do laundry -i2 -u4
Then hit Alt+Enter
If you do not like the result click Ctrl+Z to Undo
Description from help:
-i1 -i2 … -i5 : set Importance for the task 1=min .. 5=max
-u1 -u2 … -u5 : set
This message is shown if you are trying to jump to a task which is

It is a warning that the task is not found in current view and the

We will add such setting in new versions.
Please note, that if you are using release version (not a beta) the
log file contains only first few chars from your task title. The rest
is truncated. Let me know if you see more information there than you
think needed for the log.

It is just for you to classify the projects in the view. MLO does not
use project status in any place internally.

We had some difficulties to implement support of the computer names.
It does not work sometimes considering iOS-Windows network protocol.
We are working to improve this module and add auto discovery feature
and computer names in new versions.

What device are you using? You can easily do this on the desktop version so
I am thinking you are talking about maybe a mobile device?

Sorry man, but I couldn't really figure out what you were asking for. Could
you maybe give an example with a couple of tasks and how you want it to
look?

MLO on the desktop allows you to change the sorting algorithm from computed
score to all kinds of other options. If you go into the ToDo view filters
section you will see a Sort button. Clicking that will pull up the
choices. Can you find a better combination that will work for you?

Seems to me this can be made easier by identifying the lowest level of
hierarchy as actions and providing a next action mechanism to
generate a to do list of all the next (sequence or date) actions. Then
all that is needed is a way to resequence the to do list, with #1
being the best use of
