Regarding your point 3, it is not necessary to limit yourself to only using
MLO at one computer at a time, and always closing it. You need, however, a
slightly different setup.

Sorry, I don't know if it notifies you when you run out of zaps - I'm
signed up for the Basic Plan. Though, having used it for a number of
months, Zapier seems like a pretty clued-up and reliable service so I'd be
surprised if there wasn't some kind of notification.
