Yes - the ability to postpone/reschedule an instance of a recurring task
has been much requested.
Until that gets implemented, the approach I use is to create a sub-task of
the recurring task which inherits the dates of the recurring task and which
will appear in the To Do list based on this

You can open any view with collapsed groups by going to the Views Pane and
then the section called "Group & Sort" click on "Group by..." and uncheck
"This group expanded".

I use MLO as an organizer, not a project manager, therefore many of my
tasks are not assigned to a project.
When 'Active by Project' is shown, it often displays with all nodes
expanded. As 'Projects: none' appears first, I have to do a lot of
scrolling to find my actual projects.
