I'd find this very useful as well. The workaround I use is switching to the
outline, checking the task as complete, than unchecking it again. By doing
that, I have "detached" that instance from the recurrence, and then I can
freely edit it.
Since this procedure is very common in my workflow, this
Hi Andrey,
In the Reminders window, a very useful thing would be, in the list of snooze
options, to have "remind x minutes before due" items.
Today we have a list of "remind again in x time (from now)" list. The list
would end up being something resembling this:
5 minutes from now
10 minutes fro

Hi Andrey,
If I type a task ending in ')',']', '}' (and other characters, I'm sure)
using the parser, MLO adds a space before it.
eg: "Send mail about MLO annoyance (parser) @ online" becomes "Send mail
about MLO annoyance (parser )"
I know this is minor, just decided to report regardless, as it
Hi Andrey. The new manual sort fits my needs perfectly now. I love it! A
couple of points:
1. Since we now have a visual cue in the UI (the star), it wouldn't hurt to
make it clickable. This is not an issue for me (since I'm fine with the
hotkey), but something that may help with the feature disco

Hi Andrey, thanks for this long-waited release -- I'm excited!
I *wholeheartedly agree* with Chuck here.
Let me describe my scenario of usage: The way I work is that I have a "will
do" list for the day, every day (a complex query: tasks due that day, plus
taks with a particular flag, grouped, and
Hi Lisa,
That's a known bug which is promised to be fixed in the next version.

I have such a view created. Here's how I do it:
Action Filter: Active.
"Start Date" Filter

To: [today+1] <-- this is the unintuitive piece that makes it work
"Advanced Filter"
[DueDateTime on Today+1]
Hope this helps!

Hi Andrey, all,
I use the search functionality a lot. I love it, except for the fact that it
doesn't persist the column sizes when I close/reopen MLO. I only care about
the caption of the tasks (first column), and I must always widen the column
so I can read. Ideally, one should be able to hide th

Andrey always implements new cool stuff, but is also always very
vigilant to not bloat the software.
In short: I've been using MLO since 2005 and couldn't be happier.

Make sure the 'All' option is selected under the action filter.
(The action filter is located on the filter pane, first thing before the
context list and shows only active tasks by default.)
Let me know if it helps.

I couldn't find a way to set a hotkey for 'up one level' (the action that
corresponds to the button on the very right of the screen, next to the task

I like this idea very much!
If this can be implemented without clogging the interface, it's a simple and
intuitive solution that will probably please every taste.

I have experienced this same bug of MLO losing its shortcut keys (including
basic ones like Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V) more than once, too. Unfortunately, I

Yes, Andrey. Your drawing below shows exactly what I meant.
