I like to run my tasks that are date specific using the due dates
option. Most of my tasks have the same Start Date and Due Date,
though not all. I am trying to create a filter that will show me all
the tasks due in the next 7 days, based on the Due Date value.

If I create an advanced filter with two rules:

1. DueDateTime on or after today AND
2. DueDateTime on or before Today+7

I only see one task in the list which has a start and due date of
today. There are several other tasks in my outline with the same date
values, or with a due date in the next 7 days, and they do not show
up.

I have also tried using the value DueDateTime in the next ? days, and
using 7 as the value, and that does not work either. (I still see the
same one task I referred to above).

However, if I use the Start Date options in the FIlter list, (not
using Advanced filter here), I can set From: value as Today, and To:
value as Today+7, and then the tasks will show up correctly. So
apparently no problem looking at the Start Date value.

Then I noticed, if I delete the start date from one of the tasks not
showing up, it will now appear in my filter.

So Start Date field plays a part if it has a value. (Apparently).

So then I created an Advanced Filter with:

1. StartDateTime on or before today AND
2. DueDateTime on or before Today+7

That did not work either. Aarghhh!!!

Andrey, can you set me straight?

Cheers,

Phil.
