Yes I remember that spacebar problem someone had sometime ago.
That is why I'd like the completion to rather be ctrl+spacebar

:) I've gotten bitten when I think my focus is in another window.

Quickly type the first letter*s* (and not just the first one) of any task
brings you directly toward it. Very handy!
