I can confirm the issue. It will be fixes as soon as possible.
The same thing happens if a task does not have subtasks. The
background is indented and "Indent background" option is ignored.

i´m not sure what you mean by HOW so i´ll briefly answer to anything
you could possibly mean:
- The colour coding of the tasks on the top has been done with the
Format menu in the Properties Pane. The error that formatting beginns
not until the captions column was provoked by dra

I have icons column at the left in Outline and at the right in To-Do.
Tried to move Icons most left in To-Do, no problems, everything looks
fine.
Is it possible to provide a screen shot?
Also what version do you use?
