No, I didn't find any fix for this issue. It bugs me to not have any valued
trace of the effort that was used in that project. It limits the usefulness
of this product.

Did you ever find a fix for this issue? I have just run into the same
problem. I want to keep a record of the subtasks, as well as the main
project task.
