I was going to test this, but one of the other beta testers (Andrei) has beaten me to it and posted a feature request on the beta testers forum, for sorting subtasks under a filtered list. It will take time before you see any changes, so I hope you can find a workaround. I'll see if I can suggest something once I've found a bit of time to test it out.
