I've been doing this for a long time now, actually, and it works great
for me. I'm sure there could be some benefits to using the cloud,
though...I certainly wouldn't want to discourage its development.
Where I can see it being the most useful is when I have MLO on my
iPhone or Android.

I don't care about clouds, I want http remote access.

I'm already in touch with user support because I just can't sync my ml
file with cloud sync because, among other reasons, While I was syncing
last time, something went wrong and the syncing process did not erase
the lock file it generates. That is painful because should I have
multiple devices, now
*"my mlo cloud sync got stuck and now when I try to resync it
warns me about my file being used in another location"*
That is the point. When using dropbox there isn't any warning when there is
a conflict. It just starts a second file that is a pain in the but to
manually resync.

Are you referring to the fact that if you open the same ml file in two
different computers and start modifying that file it will generate a
conflicting file?
yesterday my mlo cloud sync got stuck and now when I try to resync it
warns me about my file being used in another location...
I'm not sayi
So, you assure that in that very scenario our cloud sync will work,
right?

There is no blackberry client for dropbox. Corporate firewalls often
block dropbox - they don't like making it too easy to steal
intellectual property.
