GMX works. You should check the 'My server requires authentication' box.
Don't forget to enter the full gmx email address in the username field.

I wanted to use the feature that MLO boasts - email reminders - where It
sends the reminder
but - as of yet - I cannot find an email that works with it:

I have just started to use boomerang for Gmail.
