When I try to 'insert into
...' and press these local keys I get \320 or \256 shown on screen. In all
other programs (like 'ee') I see local characters.
What am I doing wrong?

Hello, list!
Has anyone made a test to find out under which OS MySQL performs best given
the same hardware? How much is the difference? I am a new user and I have to
choose a system. I am looking at Linux, Solaris or Win on x86.

hi as
string with length of 12 or 16 characters. It happens for all char fields,
lengths are from 1 to 20 chars (randomly).
Should I try another set of components or can this be fixed?

Should I set this path in some config files?
