mysql version 3.23.41 ...i am having a problem importing simple date and
text data ( 6 fields) (from access 97).
this is what i have tried:
load data local infile 'client.txt'
into table client
fields terminated by '\t';
all 9 records imports correctly except that the quotes are still around the

database and insert it into mysql tables. i thought i was going to use ODBC
