Is there any function like Oracle TO_DATE in order to insert a date into a DATE type field according to a different format than yyyy-mm-dd? I wish to insert a date into a date field but my date format is "dd/mm/yyyy". If not, is there any workaround using mysql functions? AFAIK mysql reference does not mention this...
