Subject: make fails with compile error using MacOS X Darwin
>Description:
make gives:
mysqld.cc: In function `void init_signals()':
mysqld.cc:1241: assignment to `void (*)(int)' from `void (*)()'
make[3]: *** [mysqld.o] Error 1
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
Although the installation manual warns about a compile error in mysqld,
it is not this one, and the cause (failure to edit config.h) is not the cause
of this problem.
>How-To-Repeat:
just run
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/mysql
make
