ually get dates
on the form dd.mm. and have to convert it into -mm-dd in
programming before the sqlstatement... so a TO_DATE('14.02.2001',
'dd.mm.')
like oracle would be nice...

and as Bob said, it doesn't have anything to do with the
presentation of tha date..
